RUDE HR recruiter!!! I don't usually do this, but for recent grads out there, I hope you don't manage to get this lady. - She arrived very late to the meeting - Talked to me like I'm stupid. - Insulted the company I am working in - Insulted Desjardins' hiring system, how Intact only hire people with talent, unlike other companies like "Desjardins" who hires so many people - She almost had this arrogant tone of voice every time she replied to me. - Questioned why I rated myself 5 for Angular since I never used it. (Maybe because it's a framework like any other just with documentations online) EVEN THE HIRING MANAGER SAID U SAY 0 IF YOU'VE NEVER CODED BEFORE! - She tells me don't BS my way if I don't know something and waste their time. (She maybe even said it worse than this sentence) - She talked so fast like she wanted the meeting to be over - I obviously took notes but missed some of the stuff she said I needed to study. So I asked her if she can just email me some point form of the requirements (most recruiters do this). She said no rudely and kind of laughed. That It's my job to take notes. I don't remember all the other things she's said, but there's more. I honestly hope any one for upper management sees this and get her fired. She was the most UNPROFESSIONAL person I have ever encountered. This is the main point of contact an applicant has to go through. Wow! -------- 2nd interview process was with the hiring managers It was technical + behavioral. - I thought all went well, even if I knew I didn't get it because I prepared for the concepts the HR lady told me and I was barely asked about that. Also because they were really nice and calm during. I get a call from the rude HR again telling me that the 2 managers said I was doing something else and wasn't looking at them. That I was typing for no reason and they didn't appreciate that. That they will not proceed with my candidacy. (She said it in a way as if the hiring managers was so disgusted with the way I was during) Maybe when people are stressed and have anxiety, they tend to type random stuff on a notepad? Also, I have a 34 inch screen with the webcam on top. Do you mean to tell me I have to look at my webcam instead of the screen? Either way, probably the best bullet I've dodged. Since I also got an offer at another place the same day. ------- Job search in this economy is already hard, encountering such people makes this whole situation worst for everyone. I hope someone else gets a better experience than I do.
