Thank you for letting me know of your experience. I was made aware of this internally as well. The recruiter who sent the system message was new at the time and made a mistake. We have discussed it and they now understand that if someone takes time to speak with us, we must also take time to let them know in person if a hiring manager chooses to go in a different direction vs sending an email. I am so sorry that we provided a less than great experience but your feedback will help us become better.
