O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Intel Corporation (Hillsboro, OR) em jan. de 2011
Entrevista
Placed my resume on the general job board. I was contacted for a phone interview. It was very informal. I was told about the position they wanted to hire me for, and they asked about my career goals and a few things I placed on my resume. I got offerened an on-site interview.
On site-interview:
- ~40 minute presentation
- Technical interview consisting of questions on my PhD research as well as everything I placed on my resume.
- Lunch consisted of a presentation of Intel and a window tour of the facilities
- Afternoon interviews were pretty simple. Asked things that were on my resume. A lot of explanation of the demands of the job.
What happens if a tool is defected 10% of the time. You want to take it off the line, but the technician doesn't want to take it off the line. What do you do?

Process begins with a phone screen with recruiter, followed by hiring manager discussion, then onsite interviews consisting of several one-on-one sessions, where candidates are usually expected to deliver a presentation.
It was pretty straightforward overall. They mainly asked questions about my resume, previous work experience, and the projects and research work I completed during my graduate studies. The conversation was conversational and focused on understanding my background and technical experience.
