This was a very chaotic and non-transparent process. I was selected after an online application. I went through a screening session with HR then a first panel interview. Following this step, I was asked to attend the interview in their office as opposed to an online interview. Then I was asked to provide referees contacts. I did but they didn't think those were senior enough in the organisation so they declined the referees contacts. It seemed to be a game of let's pretend we are recruiting as it seems the job was never filled in.
