Phone screen with recruiter, follow up with GM via phone, in person with GM, someone on his team, and two senior leadership team members. Provided a written sample to show how I'd handle scenarios people in this role would face on a daily basis.
From start to finish, everyone I spoke with was positive and upbeat. The only reason why I give this experience a thumbs down is I received a phone call stating they weren't moving forward with my candidacy but wasn't sure why. The recruiter let me know she'd solicit feedback and call me to let me know what it was.
To this day, I've yet to receive a phone call after two emails and two voicemails to the recruiter giving her the benefit of the doubt.
It's bothersome that hiring managers and teams are so quick to dismiss candidates, promise to get them feedback and then not follow through. One of the executives on my panel was stuck in a meeting and couldn't make it. I get that schedules get conflicted, things happen, but think about the perception you're creating in the eyes of people that genuinely want to be part of your company and come join a solid team.
