Not so good, got rejected. Technical interview was very topic oriented. Not very pleasant interview process. First they send an online interview from hackerrank which is not very hard but technical interview was questions regarding specific topics

Hackerrank test phase: First, you make a quick call with HR then they send you a hackerrank test. Test contains 2 hands-on programming questions, 1 database question and 7 multiple choice questions. Programming questions can be considered as difficult and you are expected to pass all the test cases which I did. Database question was easy than I expected, If it can be solved without even a sub query, what is your expectation from the question? Other questions are generally based on javascript and they are pretty much easy. The purpose of those questions is to check if you know basics of javascript or not. After you complete the test, you were expected to register to their career website and generate a resume. It is very similar to other job apply websites. You need to specify your salary expectation in the website also. HR phase: You make a 30 minute call with HR over Skype/Teams. The purpose of the call is to have informations of the candidate's background. You were expected to explain what you did, which technologies you used, what was your responsibilities. In the same call, you face with the salary expectation. HR pretends like you did not fill the form before. Company has offices in both Istanbul and Izmir and all employees worked from home during the pandemic. If you are applying for the Izmir office, you need to know that "company sees Izmir office as a cheap labor source" Maybe it is the reason why they have office in Izmir. No idea. Bottom line is they're looking for cheap labor in Izmir. You have no chance even if you pass all the tests and your background skills exactly match with the job description. If you are looking for competitive salary, dont spend your time on it.
