I fast tracked from a phone interview to an in person interview with an employee referral. The in person interview was with 4 people, some calling in via video and the first 15 minutes they couldn’t get the technology to work. Between interviews, we stopped for a break and they were 15+ minutes late getting me from the lobby. I had the receptionist call up because I think they forgot about me. The interview felt as though they were trying to make me fail. I understand the need to drill down but it was overkill. They left no time for my questions. I had quite a few. The recruiter called me a few days later and I let her know that I would not be moving forward. Also there was an “air” of ego and better than thou energy. I felt they were so high from all their accolades that they were not even open to what I had to bring. They were trying to make me fail.
