The HR team member I spoke with did not ask me any questions about my background and wanted me to ask him questions about Invenergy. I had interviewed previously twice and know the company well. I said I was familiar with the company and did not have general corporate questions. I did not get a second interview so I guess I should have re-asked the general corporate questions to convince the HR person that I was "motivated," and convince them that Invenergy was my "top choice," and that I was the right "cultural fit."

I conducted my interview over Teams split across 2 days because of the number of interviewers and the time difference. Each interviewer was given 30-45 minutes and we often used all of the allotted time. The questions tended to be more difficult with the more senior interviewers, but that could have been because this role was more of a pivot for me and I was less familiar with the job requirements than someone who had been working in asset management previously.
