I interviewed for a part time internship and met with 4 people. For an internship at the collegiate level, it was EXTREMELY unnecessary. It took 2.5 hours and one of the people with whom I sat down had absolutely zero clue about the position in which I was applying. They also asked some security clearance questions even though the position did not require one.

Entrevista
Two in depth phone conversations, then a 2.5 hour in person introduction / technical quiz. One manager and one developer present, and two developers via video chat. The company's server product was demonstrated, then three technical questions of varying complexity were given.. to be solved on a whiteboard.

I contacted them about an open position on LinkedIn; they got back to me quickly. Met with almost the entire management team. Three rounds of interviews, pretty conversational, but I knew their market and researched them extensively ahead of time.
