I wanted to share some feedback on my experience with your recruitment process, as I believe there are areas that could be improved to better reflect the company’s values and operational standards.
After submitting my application, I received a brief email inviting me to proceed to the first round. However, at this stage, there was no insight into the broader role description or salary details. The first-round requirements were extensive, involving two project submissions and a two-hour online assessment—requiring a significant investment of time from candidates.
I completed these tasks and followed up with the team, but I never received any response. While I fully appreciate that recruitment processes can be demanding and that your team is likely handling a high volume of applications, requesting such a substantial commitment from candidates without any direct interaction, acknowledgement of receipt of materials or clarity on key role details does not create a positive impression of the company or its operational approach.
As candidates we understand that not everyone will progress to the next stage, but at a minimum, a basic follow-up is a reasonable expectation when so much is asked of applicants early in the process. The experience also raises broader concerns about how employees may be treated if this is the level of engagement offered to potential hires.
I strongly encourage you to review your approach and consider incorporating a more human-centred recruitment process. In my 15+ years of professional experience, this has been one of the most disappointing hiring experiences I have encountered.
I hope this feedback is helpful and contributes to refining your candidate experience moving forward.
