After applying and not hearing back from HR, I followed up about the status and got an interview booked with the hiring managers. on the day of the interview, l had to wait outside for almost 20mins even though i showed up right on time. Once the interview started, and right from the get go one of the managers kept asking me about my hardware knowledge when what i applied is completely unrelated to that and even though my project was more in line with optics we only discussed it only for 2-3mins in total. It clearly was a waste of time and seemed like they had no interest in having me in the team which is weird because why even setup the interview in the first place then. Simply put, this was by far the worst interview experience i have ever had and would have walked off if i knew this earlier. The salary is even more laughable.

They were 2 people asking about my programming experience when the position had nothing to do with programming. They wanted to underpay and were rude throughout the whole process. It’s one of the worst interview experienced that I ever had, wouldn’t recommend.
