Entrevista
I applied online. A month later someone from the company emailed me and invited me to an open interview. I arrived at the property and they had me fill out a 1 page application. One of the questions on the application is "why do you want to work for Irvine company?" Be prepared to have a pretty decent answer. I interviewed with 2 different people that day; one after the other. The questions are average nothing too difficult. A few days later I got an email from the same person that emailed me the first time saying they were impressed with my interview and would be considering me for future openings.
So I'm confused on how the whole thing works. They were interviewing people but aren't hiring? Apparently it's some sort of new system they are doing.

Entrevista
Received a call from a staffing agency and had an interview the next day. I was asked general questions about myself and what expectations I had from the company. Felt the interview went well and they told me they would let me know if I got the job. I followed up two days later, but was told someone else got the job. I was a little disheartened, but I would definitely apply again.

Entrevista
I was originally referred to Irvine Company by a good friend to attend one of their open interviews. I did not know what to expect, but I ended up meeting with two managers at the same time. The interview went a lot better than what I was expecting. By the end of the interview the three of us were getting along so well that we ended up talking about interests and hobbies. After leaving the property for about 5 minutes, I received a phone call extending an offer to me.
