Is there a difference between a manager and a leader?
Sigiloso
Absolutely. A leader is anyone within the organization, typically in a managerial role where they invest in the people they work with to help them become more effective as individuals and as employees. I often think of the coaches I had in college football who led by example whether we won or lost. Their character never changed. They always thought of improvement one step at a time and expected setbacks as s part of growth. I have had both in my career and I choose leader over manager every time.
