Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Iterative Health (San Francisco, CA) em abr. de 2023
Entrevista
I recently had the opportunity to interview with Iterative Health, a company I was genuinely enthusiastic about joining. While parts of the interview process were positive, other aspects left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. As a potential candidate, I believe it is important to share my experiences with others who may be considering applying for a position at this company. The interview process included several rounds with different interviewers, which were spaced out accordingly. The first four interviewers were engaging, knowledgeable, and made sense in the context of the role. However, the process took a turn when I had to undergo three hours' worth of back-to-back interviews with only one small break in between. This intense scheduling felt overwhelming and exhausting, as it barely allowed me any time to recharge or regroup between sessions. The final interviewer was the most disappointing part of the process. They asked questions that seemed unrelated to the role and made little to no sense. For example, they stated that Identity and Access Management (IAM) was outside the scope of the infrastructure, which contradicts industry best practices and standards. This confusing interaction raised concerns about the company's technical expertise and left me unsure of how to respond. After investing significant time and energy into the interview process, I was informed that I was not selected for the role. Although it is normal for not every candidate to be the right fit, the lack of feedback or explanation as to why I was not chosen, despite my request for feedback, was disheartening. The absence of communication and transparency made me feel like the time I spent on the interviews was wasted. In conclusion, my experience with Iterative Health's interview process was a mixed bag. While the first four interviewers were knowledgeable and engaging, the excessive duration of consecutive interviews and the questionable technical understanding of the final interviewer negatively impacted my experience. The lack of feedback upon rejection further added to my dissatisfaction. I would encourage Iterative Health to review and improve its interview process to ensure a more positive experience for future candidates. Those considering applying should be aware of the potential challenges they may face during the interview process.
