Let me start by saying I have 6 years management level experience in the trucking industry. I was thinking about relocating to Northwest Arkansas so I applied for every job I could with JB Hunt. I have friends that work there and they gave my resume to several recruiters and managers. After about 4 to 6 months of doing this I was finally contacted by a recruiter about a CSC position. This was my number one pick on positions they had available so I was very interested. We talked on the phone and I had to answer some standard questions via email. After I went thtough this I had a phone interview with the department manager and at the end he asked me to come in for a face to face interview. The next week I made the 5 hour drive to the corporate office in Lowell. I met with the department manager and two others that were in the department. We talked about the position and the company. They mainly asked me questions like why did I want to work for JB Hunt and why did I think ICS is right for me. They seemed to ask that about 10 times in as many different ways as they could. They did not ask me very much about my experience in transportation or seem very interested that I had experience. It seemed like they were use to interviewing kids straight out of college and not someone that has been in the workforce for a few years.
