Don’t bother! Rude and unqualified recruiter Recruiter did a phone screening after reviewing my resume, but already seemed like she wasn’t interested. Mentioned that they had several candidates come on site the same day, so they will only call me in if those don’t work out (red flag). Also told me that the role would mostly be admin work instead of valuations (why don’t you just hire an admin ?). The next week, I got called in to the office to meet with 2 people who were on the team, as well as the same recruiter. The recruiter was so rude and seemed like she didn’t want to be there; kept rolling her eyes and looking out. Then, she called in the second person and he seemed friendly and told me I was the perfect candidate for this position, only to later find out he was fake. Afterwards, I met with the last candidate and then ended my interview. Another recruiter walked me out and told me that they’ll let me know by next week. The next week comes and I don’t hear back from them. I emailed the first recruiter, but no response. I emailed the second recruiter and she kindly replied to me cc’ing the first recruiter. The day after, I got a phone call from another person saying that I didn’t get the job and that I should apply for another role that’s opening up in the summer. I checked on the careers site and the role is again open for submission. Strange that they had so many candidates but it seems like nobody is the right fit or maybe they don’t have enough money to hire anyone. Besides, the company is going bankrupt

I received a prelimary phone interview with JCrew. I thought it went very well. However, I did not hear back from HR until a week after my interview, the HR representative I interviewed told me that the hiring manager was in the process of figuring out the structure for the role and that he would have more clarity in two weeks but would be temporarily pausing the search till then. She told me she would reach out as soon as she knew more but to reach out if I had any questions in the interim. I emailed her twice over the period of 3 weeks. I did not get an email response or a phone call. Very unimpressed with the level of professionalism.
