I went in to the store and asked if they were hiring. They weren't at the time, but when I came back two weeks later with a filled out application they had openings. So I ended up having an interview with one of the managers on the spot and then was able to interview with the store manager a few minutes later. Very simple interview. I didn't wear any J. Crew apparel but I did wear clothing that looked like it could be sold there. Both interviews were casual and more conversational than question based, though they did ask questions they needed to know, while trying to get to know me personally.

Lovely interview with the then assistant manager. Just connect showing your bubbly personality and talk maturely about your former job experience.
It ran for about 30-35 mins yet felt as if time flew by due to great conversation.
Great retail job. Requires alot of connecting with customers, even styling them in the fit rooms. But also remember EVERYONES EXPERIENCE is different

Easy, Basic Questions with the store manager. Just ask about previous experience and your availability. Why you want to work there. Met with the store manager and asked questions outside of the store.
the interview was entirely behavioral and very casual/conversational. mostly just how you would handle customer interactions and selling the credit card. i would highly recommend working there and interviewing. very similar to other retail interviews.
