If you would kindly provide status to your candidates - those who take the time to prepare, are fully engaged in the interviews, send thank you notes, and then follow up for status - you wouldn't have to worry about a "thumb's down" review. Just a one line email would be appreciated. Unprofessional and impersonal approach to recruiting, and doesn't inspire me to recommend your company to others.
