I had a disappointing experience with Jconnect during their hiring process. I was invited for an onsite interview for the position of Trainee Recruiter (Domestic Recruitment). However, upon reaching the location, I was asked to wait for nearly an hour without any confirmation or update regarding the interview.
Later, the recruiter, Nidhi Kumari, informed me that the hiring manager refused to conduct the interview because they were looking for a pure fresher. Despite this, I had already disclosed my 3 years of experience in US recruitment during the application process. This lack of communication and clarity reflects poor coordination.
She then asked me to wait further, stating that she would arrange an interview for a UK Recruiter role. After waiting another hour, I was informed that the respective manager was not available in the office. As a result, I had to leave without attending any interview.
This experience felt highly unprofessional and demonstrated a lack of respect for a candidate’s time and effort. Companies should value applicants’ dedication, especially those who travel for onsite interviews.
