I interviewed for the Media Post-Production Technician role at J.D. Power. The HR representative was friendly but unorganized and didn’t seem familiar with the role’s technical aspects. After the interview, I followed up and was told I’d get an update if anything changed. Two weeks passed with no response, and I later saw the job reposted, meaning I wasn’t selected. A simple follow-up would have been appreciated. While the interview was professional, the lack of relevant questions and clear communication made the process feel unstructured. Better coordination between HR and the hiring team, along with timely updates, would improve the experience.
