Interview was for a remote position and was conducted over video conference. Initial interview was with the Owner, with a second interview with the Controller. Both interviews were very laid back and focused more on making sure the two sides would be a good fit for each other. Basically involved the Owner describing the type of work their firm does and what they are expecting from a new hire. Interview with the Controller was a bit more focused on the detailed accounting/tax work involved in the job. Interviewee should expect to go through their professional background in order to assess whether it would be sufficient for what their firm needs.
