Let me start by saying they offered me a position and then hours later rescinded the offer due to not having the funds to pay what they offered. At the beginning of the process, everything seemed to go well and I was excited about the possibility of working with Joven. However, as the process came to a close, there were a number of red flags that started popping up. The initial interview was over the phone and everything went very well. They then contacted my references, and my references said nothing but good things about their conversations with Joven. However, after a week and a half of not hearing back from them, I followed up with a phone call. I was asked if I could come in person for a final interview and drug test. After driving 2 and a half hours to Joven, I was asked to fill out an application (which I already submitted). Upon finishing filling out the application for a second time, I was then told that I didn't have to do it as they already had it on file. I then was asked to take the drug test, and after completing that, was told that they would contact me. I was taken back as there was no in person interview. This upset me as I drove a total of 5 hours just to pee in a cup (which could have been done at a remote site). Then a few days after when they told me they would make a decision, they called me and offered me a position and shared with me the salary that I would receive. Just a few hours later I received an email from Joven saying the are rescinding the offer due to a lack of funding for the position.
