Candidatei-me pessoalmente. O processo levou mais de 1 semana. Fui entrevistado pela JPMorganChase (White Plains, NY) em mar. de 2009
Entrevista
I met with the district manager. She came in and annouced to me first that she's been with the company for over 20 years. and she said she had to ask certain questions and then the rest would be like a discussion. One of the questions were "what do you suggest to clients when they want to buy a product that's not suited for them?"
I told her my strategy about selling, told her that I go in with open, honest and low pressure approach. I told her with high-pressure it's hard to keep a friendly atmoshpere. I told her that I genuinely care about my customers and try to sell them the most fit products.
She was a little strange, she said to me; "so if you were to selling me something, how would you do it, sell me this pen right here". I thought "uh what? I think our products are more sophisticated than a pen. " That was kind of random.
Anyway, she thought I was too soft, despite my continous record of always meeting my sales goals. So I suggest you look like a hungry dog when you go in there. I'm an aggressive sales person who's always looking for an opprotunity, but I don't show that to my clients. To my clients, I want to just look like a wealth of knowledge. I guess she wants you to show the client aggression. Sorry, but that's just not how I do business.

The interview process was fairly simple. Interviewed with the Branch Manager, a second Branch Manager in training, and the Marketing Director. I was told there is usually a second interview with the Marketing Director solely, but they decided to join last minute. The interview lasted a little over an hour. Education and work experience was discussed with a strong emphasis on sales. I was offered the position on the spot. Later that day I was contacted by HR with the official offer letter that showed a pay rate much less than what was discussed. I decided to sign it and began filling out employment forms. Took a drug test and finger prints the next day. The next week I was contacted from a member of the pre employment team requesting documentation and letters of explanation for items that were on my credit report from 2009. I was unable to provide one of the requested documents in a timely manner, so the offer was rescinded three weeks later. The whole process was a complete waste of time, energy, and not worth nearly a $2 pay cut. Had I not had a good relationship with my current employer, I'd be unemployed.
