Location: Finance district manhattan. Steps: 1. Technical phone interview 2. In house interview with multiple people 3. Negotiation of salary and benefits Interview was successful and they made an initial offer. Initial offer was quiet on the downside. To compare this offer with others I asked for benefits information, which strangely they took several days to get back with. After some discussion they made another offer which seemed somewhat reasonable. And surprisingly, they call later and retract the offer. WOW!! That was a first. I have so far not seen any companies retract offers.
