It was a lengthy interview, which appeared informal. Interviewees seemed a bit disengaged from the conversation. Then when one interviewer asked another to elaborate on the company's values, the interviewer had to look them up because "they recently changed". Needless to say, they did not seem prepared. I received an offer, which was very competitive, however opted for a different company

The interview process consisted on responding to an ad they placed on their website. I had an interview with their HR person. She seemed nice. I had to cancel it because I was really sick the first time. The last thing I wanted to do was not give the HR person my full attention to what she was saying. I was promised the second stage of the interview would happen next week. Guess what, folks? This did not happen at all. I did not know if she was on vacation or had died because we are in a middle of a pandemic. There was no out-of-office response done so I had no idea what was going on. I contacted her and the fellow principals just to follow up. Guess what? I got an email saying the interview would happen later in the week. The firm canceled my interview at the last minute. I was not given a specific reason why. I was told by HR I would be kept in my for future opportunities. That has never happened with them. It is disheartening for a company to do this to someone who saved them from legal jeopardy many years ago. This is a very unprofessional company based on my experience during the interview. And it makes the bad reviews on Glassdoor more credible because of the way I was just treated. These folks are as dense as osmium, the densest chemical element on earth.
