I was invited for a phone screening and by the end of the interview I was told the hiring manager was very interested in my background, and could I do the second interview tomorrow. I took the time off work and attended the second interview. I never heard back the team despite losing pay to attend the interview on extremely short notice. I saw recently they are still recruiting for this role and have over 500 applicants. It seems like they are wasting people's time or doing market research.
