Interview with the two co-founders – CTO and CEO. We sat in their quaint main office in Oakland across from each other.
The interview was formal initially and became colloquial as it progressed. If anything, the first half of the interview was about "if you know your stuff". The second half of the interview was about "is this candidate a culture fit?".
I had a few offers to choose from before I accepted a role at Jade Orchard. Some of the offers even paid more! Ultimately, the growth potential, culture, and senior management won out.

I submitted my resume online and was selected for a 1st round phone interview. I could not make the listed dates/times because I was working full time and wanted to respect my current employers scheduling needs. They were very understanding and accommodating and I was able to schedule my phone and in person interview around my previous full time-schedule.
The interview process was transparent and organized. The 2nd interview was an in person and I was able to meet everyone at once! This was a huge relief since I did not have to come multiple times in order to meet or interview with other staff members. Furthermore, everyone cleared their schedules in order to meet with me and I did not have to wait. I was impressed by how respectful this company was of my time and schedule.

Interview process was a 'team' effort of both partners. Lots of one partner talking and the other being quiet. The only notation taken during the interview was when I mentioned some freeware tools for SEO web site evaluation. I guess these guys don't have enough knowledge of the industry on their own or don't know where to look for in free SEO tools?
