Went to info session, met & followed up with bankers who referred me to HR rep after I name dropped an employee, applied on their website, had a first round phone interview (2:1), was not invited back. Overall fine experience.

People interviewing me were generally kind, wanted to really know who I am and at the same time wanted to know if I was really interested in equity

Process was organized. The conversation was fast-paced but conversational, reflecting the culture of Sales & Trading.
Interviewer focused on market knowledge, behavioral questions, and a little technical understanding of equities and macro trends. They were clearly assessing both technical competence and personality fit, especially comfort with high-pressure environments and strong communication skills.
Overall, the experience felt competitive but fair
