I had an initial phone screen. The person I spoke with assured me that they would get back to me, because they are “not in the habit of ghosting candidates”. But over a week went by and I had not heard anything. I reached out via email asking for an update and they told me that they hadn’t received feedback yet but would get back to me and I never heard from them again. It’s frustrating to go out of your way to say that you don’t ghost candidates but then do exactly that. The communication was lacking and overall the process felt disrespectful. It did not give me a good impression of the company.
