I applied for this remote position on Indeed, I found Jelecos appealing because they are open to remote workers like myself and promote cloud-first application development and infrastructure, which is what I became certified in. I first interviewed with the Director of Operations and the Director of Application development. They were very courteous and ask experience-based questions, which was great because I love speaking about my experience and past challenges. I was also actively engaged in the conversation, asking them questions about their company, client acquisition process, application development techniques, etc. I spoke of my passion for the cloud, and using the latest technology and techniques. The next day, I was called back for a second interview where I met more of the development team and continued our discussions. I call them discussions snd conversations because that is what they felt like, an open conversation between colleagues rather than someone reading a list of questions they found on Google. The third and final interview was with the head of HR. All three interviews went very well, everyone was kind & genuinely interested in me and the whole process went wonderfully. I was offered a position, which I happily accepted.

Entrevista
I had a phone screening and then in-person interview a week later or so.
It was a pretty "meh" experience. They were totally fine and cordial, but it just seemed like all they were trying to do is find a reason NOT to hire you, rather than bring out your strengths and see where you would be the best fit. Also, they were kind of awkward and a lot of dead air in between questions. No real flow to the conversation or anything.
Honestly, I would recommend not giving out your "worst truth" for some of their questions (ex. What's the biggest mistake you have made?). Seems like they were using questions like these to try and filter out applicants, rather than using them to gauge how the employee learns from these mistakes. They never followed up with how did you learn from this, if you could go back, what would you do differently, etc. They just moved on.

Entrevista
had to apply online, then phone interview then face to face interview. There were two people for in the panel, senior developer and Manager. results were announced in a week.
