Long, drawn out process. Met hr, hiring manager, 2 devs for a tech talk about tech and historic, then met the whole team at the office which was nice. The vibe of the company was off, it was giving "end of the line job", the kind of job you wouldn't be able to get out of because no other company still works with software that way so you wouldn't be able to market your experience. Although they're a standalone company they definitely feel stuck in old bureaucratic ways with absolutely no flexibility for what a "modern" job should look like. They refused to give any details about how an offer could look like even after meeting the team. Feels like the mentality of an office job from the us of a from the 90s, definitely not suitable for younger people.
The hr person, I'm not sure if it was real or a chat bot. When I asked about what should I expect for the technical interview, her response was "It will be a technical interview with two developers" with no further details.
