      The process is as described by previous reviews. On line application and assessment, on line video interview and eventually an invite to a f2f interview. I went to the f2f in Orlando beginning of March. We started the process in the morning at the Marriott by MCO and completed the jump seat, announcement assessment and language test if you're bi lingual at their training center. Nice training center, friendly people. The person from HR said they were changing things up. So instead of asking candidates why they want to work for JetBlue. They asked " Who has been an inspiration to you in your life and why " This is one of those everybody feels good type of questions. This is the subjective part of the selection process. Really no right or wrong answers here. The group exercise was you were split up into groups of 6 people and given 15 minutes to chose 6 out of 7 choices of "If you were the CEO of the company what would you choose to".. who would you want as a spokesperson, what new city to fly to, new snack and drink item to serve on board, what special livery painting on the aircraft, new slogan, what charitable organization to donate to and why you chose them keeping in mind JetBlue company values. Fun just as long as your team mates remembers who is presenting which item. Again another subjective part of the selection process. Be prepared for a very long day! We started at 8:30am we were finally done by 3:45pm. No lunch break to speak of because in between interview and debrief you have to get your fingerprints taken and do the reach test. Fingerprinting takes a while. Bring something to snack on.

      I have gone through glassdoor with a fine tooth comb reading and learning from all the reviews before I embarked on my own application journey with JetBlue. The reviews have been so helpful and provided such great insight and food for thought which is why I feel I made it to my upcoming Blue Review! I want to just say before I continue THANK YOU for everyone who took time out to post such in detail responses on how their interview process went. It truly has been such a HUGE help and provided me with much needed confidence to feel more prepared and less nervous (even though I still felt like I was sweating through my blouse on my video interview haha) So once again thank you to everyone that has posted and I am looking forward to going into my Blue Review this Tuesday, March 29th with a prepared attitude and a smile from ear to ear! Now to tell you how I went from simply looking at the job posting on the JetBlue website to actually counting down to my Blue Review :) I first applied online and did my questionnaire on January 1st of 2016. I do not exactly remember too much about what was on it to be honest, but there are very straight forward questions that you can not prepare for. It just calls for honesty and tests your consistency with your answers since multiple questions are the same just worded different. At the end of the questionnaire, there were a couple scenarios given which to be honest I felt that I bombed. However contrary to what I thought on February 17th I received an invitation to do my video interview. I was super ecstatic and sent in my responses by February 19th. During my video interview, despite how prepared I felt I was, I did get nervous which is normal for me especially since this is something I want. I felt a little unsure after my video interview, but still remained with a little glimmer of hope that the recruiters could see pass my nerves and see that I have what it takes. I received the e-mail for my Blue Review on February 29th while at my doctor's appointment and I almost could not contain myself from jumping out of my seat. I replied back the same day to schedule and am set to go to Long Island City this Tuesday the 29th!! I look forward to meeting everyone that has a review the same day and hopefully making it past the review getting us all one step closer to getting our wings. I will keep you all posted on what the outcome is, and look forward to changing my answer from no offer to YES, I GOT AN OFFER! :)

      Entrevista

      I applied in November, 2014, completed the online video interview (which are pre-recorded questions, and they video record your answer) in December, and a week later received an invitation for an in-person interview, "Blue Review." I had the option of selecting from 5 different interview dates/locations, and chose the last option in February, 2015 in Orlando. There were 40 people in my interview class, which is a normal amount for a major airline. There were about 20 total JetBlue employees present, from current Inflight crew members to interns, HR reps, and talent acquisition agents. All of the employees were extremely professional and genuinely happy and excited to be be at this interview, I was very impressed with their presentations and conductions of the interview as a whole. The interview started at 8:30am with signing in and getting name tags. After the staff introduced themselves, we all had to introduce ourselves by stating our name, what made us want to work for JetBlue, and a fun fact about ourselves. Next, we were broken up into groups of five as JetBlue employees watched each group construct a tower from note cards to see how we each could work with others. They then gave an incredible presentation on JetBlue, including pay rates, flights and scheduling, JetBlue University, requirements for training, benefits, uniforms, etc. We were able to ask questions afterward. We then broke for lunch - you either have to bring your own, or you can go out to eat, lunch is not provided. When we came back we all took turns getting our fingerprints taken, reading an announcement, and if you were a Spanish-speaking candidate, you took your Spanish test. Once you have done those two (or three) you then proceeded to a de-briefing, and finally an interview. The de-briefing consists of two JetBlue employees going over your resume with you and asking you a couple questions that refer to your resume, or thereabouts. The interview is next with two other JetBlue employees. They asked four questions, and you were to respond with the STAR method - situation, task, action, result. They told us that we should hear back by the end of next week. By the time I was finished with my interview, it was almost 3:30pm, and there were about 15 people left to interview. I received a phone call exactly one week later that I had been selected to attend training at JetBlue University in Orlando! I was then overnighted forms for a drug test which had to be completed within two days. I also received an e-mail to submit some personal information, as well as fill out some online forms for the company that conducts the background checks for prospective flight attendants for JetBlue. Once the drug test and background tests have been completed (which cannot be more than a month before training per FAA regulations) I will begin training on April 1st, 2015 at JetBlue U!
