First i had a phone interview with the HR manager. We had exchanged emails to set up the time & day of the phone interview. We spoke for about 30 minutes. She was very friendly & enthusiastic. i don't remember details of that conversation, but at the end she did ask "the question"...what salary was i expecting? i gave a salary range, saying that i knew the lower figure was very "low-ball". She said the salary they were offering was well above that figure. She contacted me a week later to schedule an in-person interview.
