Overall, my experience with the interview process at Jinko was mixed. On the positive side, the recruiter was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the process, and the HR representative I spoke with was friendly, upfront, and clear about expectations and next steps. However, the process took an unfortunate turn during the technical interview stage. Initially, the role did not require Chinese language skills, and I progressed through the early stages accordingly. But partway through the process, the technical manager changed direction and decided to prioritise candidates who could speak Chinese. As a result, I was no longer considered for the position—not due to a lack of skills or fit, but because of a shift in criteria that wasn’t part of the original job scope. While I appreciate the transparency of the team and the professional handling by both the recruiter and HR, I do feel the sudden change in requirements could have been avoided or better communicated from the outset.

Fast interview. It was not very long. It was more of a Chinese style I would say friendly interview. And the manager is friendly. The hr involving is helpful. It was very chill type of interview.
