      Candidatura

Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 1 semana. Fui entrevistado pela JobPath (AZ) (Tucson, AZ) em mai. de 2021

      Entrevista

I applied online via Indeed.com, JobPath is a small nonprofit who does not have their own HR Department so they hire consultants to screen applicants for them. The consultant contacted me for a prescreening interview maybe within 1-3 days after applying. During the prescreening, the consultant couldn't comprehend the level of my skillset, no matter what I said, she was determined to put me in a box and basically tell me my skillset was better served in a different position, one she'd be posting in about a week. Unprofessional, and why would she waste my time like that??? Didn't she preview my resume??? I personally know my skillset and what position I applied for. I knew then I would not be getting the job but she just couldn't see past her own biases to make an objective screening. One to two days later, she told me JobPath was moving on with another candidate and gave me the job description for the other position, she felt I was better suited for it, I told her, recruiting was not her strongest skillset and she absolutely didn't have a clue what she was doing. I even filed a complaint with JobPath's CEO and she never responded to my email. I guess since they hired a consultant to select candidates; she wasn't going to hear from a "sore loser" who didn't get the job. It's a shame. I really liked the company and the impact it is making in the Tucson community -- I just don't understand why they won't hire in-house HR professional or create a part-time position to help them find the best talent in Tucson. This was a very disconnected experience and an in-house HR rep would understand the company culture better and how to meet the company's needs.

      Pergunta 1

Can't remember since the consultant was pushing her own agenda. I found myself raising my tone with her just to get her to hear me.
