Entrevista
I was contacted a few days after submitting my resume to Jobalign. The hiring manager was friendly and a good first impression of the company. We set up an interview and he kept in contact with me in between the steps of the vetting process –checking in and answering the many questions I had. The interview itself was with several employees from varied departments. The questions about my experience were expected - what wasn’t was how much they cared about getting a good personality fit and not just rushing to hire a qualified body to put in the empty chair. I could tell that although there is a hierarchy in place that everyone had a voice that would be heard. They are all dedicated and are a cohesive unit that pull together to support the success of the company. Everyone I met was warm and personable and I got a good sense of the company environment and the passion of the people who work there. I got an offer I was happy with the day after my interview. It seems like a great place to work with genuine and supportive people who understand the need for work-life balance that is becoming harder and harder to find.

Great interview process. A passionate group of people that really want to get to know you from the peer level up to the 2 Founders. The questions were laid back and focused on my experience as well as where I wanted to take my career.

After I expressed interest in the position, I was contacted almost immediately and scheduled to have a phone interview with the CTO for 30mins, who over email was made to be believed to be very flexible.
I received the phone call a few minutes late and it didn't last longer than 12 minutes.

I was asked which of the companies that I have left in the past would I like to go back to work for? This was without understanding my career path or my interests. To the interviewer's credit, there was an attempt to learn what happened with my previous employer, ie Microsoft.
