Hung up on this one and the first time I’ve ever done that when talking directly to a company. Interviewer was rude, combative, and arrogant. He demeaned me for moving away from San Francisco to Middle America to work at a large company. He kept asking the stupid rate yourself 1-10 question and I explained I couldn’t offer such precision accurately. I said I was a solid developer who writes good code. Even though that is clear, he kept asking me to rate myself. What does a 8 or 9 even mean? After asking me 4 times, with a hostile tone, I said this interview is over. Avoid!
