My interview was for the brand new store in Oxford, we had been told many times how the interviewing process was very new and different to any other interviews they'd done before. You're invited to an interview where we had to prepare a 3 minute talk to give in front of a smaller group as well as two interviewers, followed by a group task of discussing and then writing down tips to give to new employees to make them feel at ease and also so they perform to their best, representing John Lewis values.

Submitted CV, had a 30 min interview with a manager, and then completed a case-based group exercise with 5 others to assess how we would deal with tricky situations in the cafe
