easy going fast and easy conversation the interview lasted about 45 min and was very light hearted we discussed my experiences that applied to the role i applied for and then discuss my likes and dislikes both work and out of work related took a quick tour of the facility and then parted ways

Entrevista
The start was a fairly traditional interview process for a construction company; screening call with someone from talent acquisition, in-person interview with branch/office executive and someone senior to the position applied for. Then was the request for an additional video call with Regional Executive, my would-be-boss's-boss, to which I was open to and did very well. Lastly was a call with someone in their finance department to get a read on my understanding of the financial side of their projects and work; also went good.

Entrevista
The hiring process was unnecessarily lengthy. From initial interview to offer, it was almost 8 weeks. The hiring managers made it clear that they did not need to make a decision right away, but I found the length of time very inconsiderate to the candidates. During the 8 weeks, the hiring managers were unresponsive to both the 3rd party recruiter I was working with and myself l. I imagine they lost several applicants to other offers due to the long hiring process. The hiring managers seemed to want to circumvent the process and avoid a recruiting fee by reaching out to me directly rather than the recruiter after a certain point. After 8 weeks and 2 interviews, I received an offer for a lower position than I applied for. While I am sure the company itself is fine, the unprofessional nature of the process, boarding on disrespectful, led me to decline the position.
