submitted application online, was emailed briefly about coming out for an interview, discussed my previous experiences and what I hoped to achieve in the future and what i would like to get out of the job, what my availability was, the pay was shown to me upfront and was decent, and the interviewer was the PI himself.

Informal call with the PI over the phone; chatted about my previous work experiences and questions I had about the organizations that lasted for about 30 minutes; she talked about what current projects I would work on and gave me the contact of her previous RA to understand what day-to-day responsibilities would look like
