First went to nurse recruitment. They explained the process and made sure I had all the paperwork needed. Was taken to the unit manager who conducted the interview with a nurse on the unit. They were very friendly. Started with introductions, moved on to asking me questions, then answering any questions I had. After this I changed into scrubs that I brought and had "share time" (shadowing) a nurse on the unit, then met with the manager again to say goodbye and tie things up. Offered a job about a week later.

I interviewed with the unit manager. A very general conversation, then shadowed for 2 hours with a staff nurse. I had an interview with 2 different units, so I was there for about 6 hours. Both interviews were veryblaid back and I was offered a position on both units. I did like shadowing on the units. It gave me a since of where I would like to be.
