They call you in for an interview after submitting an application on the job board everyone uses. You are told you will be meeting the owner of the company. The President brings you into the conference room and ask you some questions before bringing you on a tour of the facility. Some of the stuff they make and manage to assemble in that building is quite impressive. During the walking around of the halls you see the owner is there during the interview, but you are lied to and told they are on vacation while you are there. The interview process went nicely so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Although after leaving the building I sent a follow up email thanking the President for the opportunity to interview and heard nothing back. I sent another email weeks later also following up on the position, and again heard nothing. I messaged the owner and told them to remove me from contention because you do not treat potential candidates like this. Totally unprofessional. Don't waste your time building a career here.
