I applied through the company website. I received a reply a month later to speak with an HR representative to schedule an online interview with the hiring manager. The process was very stress-free and friendly.

Applied August 2022. Asked to attend a face-to-face interview in October 2022 in Hertfordshire, without an initial video interview. At the interview, two team leaders explained the structure of their department and the nature of their work, then I performed a presentation. Then they asked quite a lot of questions - first asking short questions, and moving on to 'STAR' questions, including technical ones. Finally I was given a tour of the plant by another member of the team. Everyone was nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, after sending two emails over the next three weeks after the interview, I received zero response about the status of my application. It was disappointing as I had travelled quite far to attend the interview, and would have liked some feedback on how it went regardless of whether I got the job or not.
