Initial chat with product owner and two tech Leads arranged by a recruiter fairly last minute. First round really good, felt like an open conversation on all parts covering previous experience, culture fit and tech architecture skills. Was supposed to be single round process but then followed up by again a last minute chat with CTO. This one fairly dry and more if a question/answer type thing in a stark contrast to the first stage. Result was a rejection due with feedback around needing someone who "can work against their tight deadlines", though I felt working under pressure wasn’t really covered in any of the chats. Looking at other reviews, might be a bullet dodged there with redundancies going around. "Fast paced" description also felt throughout the interview to just meant dealing with sales driven and top-down imposed deadlines, in a short-staffed environment.
