The job description was fitting to my skills to I applied and a recruiter reached out saying that my profile was impressive and they would like to setup an initial interview. During the interview, we discussed the job description and I was excited about working in this role, later I mentioned I would require visa sponsorship for this role to which the recruiter said they are not sure if that is offered and will check internally. A few days later I got to know that visa sponsorship is not offered. This is something that wasn't mentioned in the job description, had it been I would have not applied and wasted my time.
