Firstly, JUUL recruitment process and communication is vert unprofessional. My process went on for 3 months and was abruptly ended a day before my 4th technical coding interview due to some made up reasons.
1. The recruiter was bugging me for months since September so I decided to give it a try In early Jan
2. Had a recruiter call in Jan who explained me general process
3. Scheduled another call with one of their directors in end of Jan, this was a technical screening round
4. Had no feedback for 2 weeks so replied back and was told that the head recruiter was on vacation so it is taking time to gather feedback
5. Had no feedback for almost and MONTH and I checked back with the recruiter and she set up my third technical screening interview with another Director
6. That director never called me I was told that he was on vacation and reschedule another call next week
7. I couldn’t pick up the call next week because I was searching for rooms but tried to call back again in 2 mins and emailed them (Usually you are supposed to call back again in 10 mins if the candidate did not pick up your call). Rescheduled another call next week again.
8. The Director called me next week and I had another technical screening round.
9. Next round was (finally) coding round. I set it up in a few days as soon as possible. Then it was rescheduled again on the same day because the Director wanted to shadow the interviewer(weird)
10. I rescheduled it again but a day before the interview I was told that they are going through some reorg and moving forward due to restricted headcount!
My Feedback to the recruitment team - stick with few candidates at a time and move fast so that no time is wasted. Rescheduling is a waste of time because we have to move around things and block the time.
