Applied online. A week later I was scheduled for a phone screening with their "Tech Recruiter" and was asked questions regarding my resume and interest with the position. 2 days later I had a call with their "Assistant FSO" with questions regarding my security clearance. 3 days later I was scheduled for a second technical phone screening with their "Senior Software Engineer". This call started off quick with her drilling me on DevSecOps related questions, which I was comfortable with answering as long as it stayed in the scope of the job description. I understand that the interviewer needs to pick at the brain, but she did so in a rude and unprofessional way by not allowing me to answer the questions adequately. She was rushing me as if we were running out of time, which didn't make sense because the interview lasted only 30 minutes when it was scheduled for the whole hour. I responded with very prompt and detailed answers to each of her questions, but then she started going down a hole of asking questions that were irrelevant to the specifics of the position like multi-threading, database, indexing, etc. Each question I didn't know, she would quickly tell me the answer in a shameful way that turned the call into less of an interview and more of a competition. She was oblivious to her questioning towards me so to be fair I told her that these questions weren't even on the job description. That got her to get her head out of her ego and turn the call back into an interview with her now gently asking about my resume. In the last 5 minutes I found it strange that she's been at the company for 10 years, but her responses were shaky and not straightforward when I asked about the people, the culture, and the contract vehicles of the company. This interview experience alone was enough to tell me all I needed to know about the work life of the company.

Phone technical interview lasted 45 minutes total. Was asked technical questions, no behavioral and finished with a coding exercise through a coding screen share website Awful experience, interview seemed completely disinterested and gave negative vibe from the start, phone interview started 40 minutes after the agreed time, I literally waited for a call for 40 minutes, before sending a message, it was obvious the interviewer did not want to be doing an interview, gave the vibe that this was a chore, he complained to me about his day and some other jargon, I was offended by this behavior and was not interested in the company whatsoever from this point on, but I went through the interview for the experience. During the coding exercise I heard the interviewer leave his chair multiple times and open a bag of chips, he was eating during the whole thing, this was a truly awful experience.
