I was invited to interview for the position of broadcast journalist in late 2014 ahead of the launch of the company's new TV station KMTV, after having expressed an initial interest in the venture prior to my graduation. While the information they could tell me ahead of the interview was little (even things like the salary, role name etc) was limited, I do accept this was due to it being a new role which was being created. I was interviewed by the online editor in the Medway Office and asked a number of questions about both my previous experience and how I would deal with certain situations. I was asked for example, about how I would cover certain stories for TV, such as if an illegal immigrant had been found to have made the journey through the channel tunnel. The whole process only lasted around half an hour and I was given a tour of the building - although I had seen this before at a previous work experience placement..
