I have completed Round 1 of the interview process at KMS for the Tester position. The first round was conducted by a recruiter and mainly focused on general behavioral questions. The recruiter started by asking me to introduce myself, including my background, academic experience, and what inspired me to apply for the role. Then, she asked me to describe my strengths and weaknesses. I highlighted my attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn as strengths. For weaknesses, I shared that sometimes I tend to be too detail-oriented, but I’m learning to manage time more effectively and prioritize tasks.
The recruiter was very friendly and encouraging, which helped reduce my nervousness. The atmosphere was relaxed, and I felt comfortable expressing myself. The purpose of the round seemed to be understanding my motivation, communication skills, and overall fit for the company culture. There were no technical or testing-related questions at this stage.
I am currently waiting for the result and hope to proceed to the next round, which I believe will focus more on technical knowledge and testing skills.
