Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela KPFF (Los Angeles, CA) em nov. de 2022
Entrevista
The interview took place in 2 cycles: first was an HR screening and the second was an interview panel with 3 managers and 1 engineer. The first interview was less than 30 minutes, while the second was abut 2.5 hours. During the second interview, I took a simple structural engineering exam for them to evaluate my experience and then I presented each question and answer to them. The managers gave a presentation on the company culture, the team setup, and the business hierarchy. Overall, I enjoyed meeting everyone and got a great vibe from this company. I would've excepted the offer, however, I got a competing offer from another company. The more I write this review, the more I wonder if I should've accepted the offer. In the long term, I would be interested in working at KPFF if my current job proves not to be a good match.

Pergunta 1
The technical portion involved a number of shear-moment diagrams, typical framing, and properties of reinforced concrete.
They made me meet them in a cafe downtown. I didn't go into the office. They were underprepared. If you're going to make me come downtown, at least let me see the office. They were off-putting from the start.
Fiz uma entrevista na empresa KPFF (San Diego, CA).
Entrevista
The process was simple and very personable, I felt very comfortable from the start. The technical questions were smartly positioned to engage in conversation. They are a friendly, courteous and professional group. The interviewer was very knowledgeable about the local construction industry.
The interview questions were easy but the interviewer seemed a bit rude and overall bored with the process. The office also seemed empty and had a very lonely atmosphere. Overall, didn't seem like a nice or healthy place work.
